On April 18, 2024, the SAIS Foreign Policy Institute hosted a conversation between Dame Louise Richardson, President of the Carnegie Corporation, and Ambassador Shirin Tahir-Kheli, Senior Fellow at FPI. Dame Louise Richardson explored the barriers between scholarship and policy makers and suggested ways to remove those barriers and improve the quality of public policy.
